Our 4-star family campsite on the island of Oléron is located 800 meters from the city center of Château d'Oléron where you can stroll through its daily market, 1 km from the beach for relaxation and its many water activities and 400 meters from a supermarket. The ideal location for staying and spending a great vacation on foot or by bike. The cycle paths starting directly from the campsite promise beautiful walks through the marshes, beaches in this sublime nature of the Atlantic coast.

Our equestrian center offers you safe courses and rides for all levels in the heart of the Oléron countryside, as well as rides around the campsite for the little ones.

Come and dive into our heated swimming pool all season long and the little ones will splash around in the aquatic river with games. The pool is supervised in July / August.

THE LITTLE STORY

Family campsite with swimming pool and family entertainment on the island of Oléron.

The history of the campsite began in the 1970s. A farm located in the heart of the Oléron marshes welcomed its first campers on the island of Oléron, who came to rest at the "Domaine de Montravail". Passionate about horse riding, Mr. Nicolas created an equestrian farm where he offered his vacationers horse rides in July and August.

The campsite then joined the Club Airotel campsite chain, a quality brand which brings together high-end French campsites. Today it is a benchmark in outdoor accommodation.

In 2002 the campsite was bought by Annie and Alain. Passionate about the outdoors and animals, they decided to combine these two passions and share them with others. The campsite changed its name and became Camping Airotel Oléron.

In 2011, the Equestrian Farm was transformed into a real Equestrian Club affiliated with the FFE (French Equestrian Federation). Open year-round, the equestrian center was equipped with professional equipment, an indoor riding school, a new arena, qualified instructors, etc.

Today, the campsite has been renamed Les Embruns d'Oléron and continues to welcome families in search of peace, relaxation and a change of scenery by offering a quality service and maintaining the same desire to help you discover and share the pleasures of horse riding on the island of Oléron and the real joys of camping, which is both high-end (WIFI-parking-entertainment-equestrian center, aquatic area, etc.) and family-friendly.
